I am starting a new branch of my business called “Tutor by Numbers”. I am seeking students from grade 8-12 who would be interested in meeting in-person in my local area of Markham/Vaughan. I am specifically looking for but I am not limiting myself to students with learning disabilities.
I am Currently having great success tutoring a student with a learning disability through the Learning Disabilities Association of York Region. He recently received a grade of 100% on two quizzes in math.
Anyone interested in this service can text or call me at 647-218-1407 or email me at robburchett1@gmail.com.
This summer I am having the pleasure of working for JDL Consulting in Richmond Hill. I am teaching grade 10 and 11 mathematics and science to students who have recently come to Canada from China.
I am looking to teach students grade 8,9,10 or 11 level mathematics. High school age or adult students. I would also be very interested in teaching the math portion of the G.E.D.
After having some success at in-person tutoring I’ve decided to expand my online tutoring to help students in chemistry as well as younger students. I will be looking for students in chemistry as well as mathematics. I am currently teaching grade eleven chemistry and also grade 7 mathematics.
I think an improvement would be to show a demonstration of the online classroom. I think I have figured out a way to add one to my website so that students could see what to expect. This would be an improvement to the website as it offers information in a non-text format and could show the power of the online classroom.
I am working on the demonstration of the online classroom. I used a screen capturing software program and ran an online class to show how it works. Their is no audio, but I think its not a bad recording. I just have to edit it and then put it on the website.
I added links to some of the material in the blog from the other pages of the website. I think this gives more access to some of the relevant material.
I read that it is good to provide useful information in blogs so added some examples of limits as well as some typical tutoring invoices so the customers know what to expect they will be charged for sessions.
I have updated my website. I added another demonstration, changed the text somewhat and added a letter of recommendation. I have described my teaching method and updated the pricing tab to include the new charges for offline work.
